Southern Utah is a glorious place. The lookout at Dead Horse Point is beautiful at any time of day and in every season. I was there at sunset in July and was captivated while I watched the light change minute by minute on the rocks and canyons. I tried to capture the magic of that moment in this painting.

I painted this for my sister. We have gone to Fish Lake as a family more times than I can count. We love the Aspen trees around the lake in every season. This one shows a little sliver of the lake behind the bushes.
